I came across this some time ago, held it in the back of my mind, knowing it in the back of my mind, that I did what I could do for my active friends in the military. I held this in the back of my mind many a time at the store, local grocery and large scale warehouse. Running across soldiers in uniform, wanting to say something but to at the time timid to do anything to bother them.
Then on my last trip out of country for work, I was coming home and saw a group of soldiers, not sure of their destination, all I knew is they were in uniform, BDU's. I griped myself like a beast and said, ' excuse me thank you', and shook hands. A few said your welcome, a few just nodded, but I saw it in them. Since then a soldier in the store, a soldier in uniform on the interstate, I try to say something that lets them know I care.

They deserve and have earned it,
