the Government is putting the hammer down on diesel tuner companies

Spartan is no longer selling any of there Delete products either. Was going to delete my 2011 Ford next week and now this crap happens. I'm so disgusted with the government getting bigger and all the EPA bullsh**!

Think about these companys that put all this time into there products and then get an email from the government saying that you cannot sell any of your products due to EPA regulations. I feel so bad for these small company"s. They put so much effort into there products, so that we can truly enjoy our vehicles capabilities.

im not sure how well respected H&S peroformance is with the 6.7 powerstrokes, but some dealers still have them. H&S is the only way to go for the 6.7 cummins, and i ordered one from rollin smoke diesel yesterday. so if that is anything that floats your boat......they are still available.

I just bought a h&s from alligator performance for my 11 Duramax. I had been thinking about doing it for awhile then I seem this thread and decided I better get one I can . I think alligator performance has a bunch on hand still

Saw the news on H&S's facebook page wednesday, ordered my H&S minimax and full EGR delete, as well as a 5" mbrp turbo back for the 2012 cummins that night from Alligator Performance, got it yesterday. Not gonna do the deletes yet though. Any H&S dealer might still have the products in stock, and you will still be able to get service on their products. They themselves just had to stop shipping. Older pre-DPF diesel trucks aren't going to get the scrutiny that the new ones will receive. Waaaayy too many diesel pickups running around without mufflers and catalytic converters for the EPA to pursue. If you're running pre-DPF or DEF trucks, I wouldn't get concerned. Anything newer, find yourself a tuner, quick.

Quick Edit: I don't particularly care if my 2012 smokes or not, I just want the delete for the fuel mileage. So really, I'd be doing the environment a favor.

hey fellow nodak....i did the SAME thing. i have a 2012 as well, and i ordered all the stuff from rollin smoke diesel. they are a big supporter on cumminsforum.com, and always active there and willing to help with questions. i got in on their delete package they offer, which i believe includes flo pro exhausts. i got the 5'' with muffler along with the h&s egr and cooler delete. now, my cummins doesnt even have 8000 miles on it yet, so im not sure if i want to put all this stuff on and piss my warranty down my leg yet.......but its going to be pretty hard to put it in the corner of the garage and look at it. i too am mainly looking for the MPG side of deleting. i think the mild tune will be great for towing too. i can only get 7-8 mpg with my 11k pound 5th wheel right now. and i only took it on one trip to the big horns in early march last year, and it made 9 mpg with a 4 place open and 4 sleds (going 80 mph though). i was hoping to see 12 on that trip.....boy was i dreaming! i hope to see it post deletes though.

what route are you going for a pyrometer?

I know this sounds bad and is gonna suck for a while. The same thing happened in the early '80's. We were switching form carbs to efi , and the pollution control BS was out of control. But innovative people came up with newer and far better technologies to give us back our performance enhancements. So buy up what you can now, and stay positive that better things are on the way.

I didn't get a pyrometer for it. Don't plan on turning the chip up, just need it for the straight pipe so I don't feel like I need to worry about EGTs. I haven't pulled anything with mine yet, only 3200 miles on it. Hand calculated about 12.6 mpg. My 06 cummins gets about 10 mpg with my steel sled deck with 2 sleds, and a 2 place trailer goin 75-80 mph and thats with a 30 horse tune on a Smarty tuner. I hear ya about the warranty as well. Already have a headlight burnt out and I wanna put in HIDs but then there goes the warranty on the rest of the electronics as well...... Hopefully I can fine a repair shop that'll do warranty work and not mind a few modifications to the truck.

Off topic, but here is what I'm putting in my 2012 soon as some eBay stuff sells:

Guess they specialize in Dodge trucks ...

Hope the auctions go well I'd really like to do the HID conversion :)

i have ddmtuning.com's hid's in all 3 locations on mine. i also wired in a relay to trigger the fogs on with the high beams. BOY can i see great at night now! i love it. now i see i can turn the fogs on with high beams on the minimaxx..........you may want to look into that was well.
