Due to our dialogue with governmental agencies within the United States, H&S Performance, LLC has decided to voluntarily suspend production of all tuning devices and EGR/DPF modification kits, effective immediately. Many H&S products and accessories not affected by this situation are still available, and will continue to be available through our dealer network and our website.
We are now working diligently to remedy this situation, and look to again offer tuning products to our customers at the earliest date possible. We at H&S are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality, most innovative products available. Bigger than that

So I don't know if you guys know who Warren Buffet is but this whole diesel truck thing is bigger than that.. You are aware of the almost insane big rig regulations and cdl requirements. Well,,, You see he has a little company called Berkshire Hathaway and guess what, they own a major stake in the two main rail lines on the west coast. With multi million dollar lobbyist in congress buying senate members and getting laws passed to make it more difficult to truck goods or own diesel trucks.. Is it any wonder pressure would be coming to this niche market? OH HANG ON this is just getting started....................................

Indeed

Thanks to all the major population centers in this country who have already sold out here freedom for a gov check, we now get to feel the power of Barry for another four years and unchecked power to boot with no accountability!! Indeed.....this is just getting started. Elections have consequences

This a little off of the OP,Relief is coming, major fleets are switching to CNG, cost is around $1.50 per gallon.Diesel prices will come down as CNG grows. Check a company called Westport, the major injector and CNG technologies company.North America has enough natural gas for the next 200 years. Even UPS has begun switching over.

I hurried up and got the latest update from H&S this morning. Excellent co. and service. Btw, not sure what happened to my DPF, it fell off or someone stole it or something like that.

back when we had IM laws..it was a 10000 fine to the mechanic for altering emissions equipment if caught..100000 to the shop...........EPA takes this stuff very serious..and it will be coming for sleds and atvs as well...am actually surprised it took them this long to nail the diesels..they went after the gassers right away...now with that said...wont be long before they will be available again..they will have to be certed under C.A.R.B program(extremely expensive to get something certified)..then with a C.A.R.B. cert number they will be legal to run ..........

If they're based in Utah selling items for off-road use only, the feds can't (or shouldn't) be able to touch them.

Obviously the govt made threats based on common sense. Seems pretty crazy. On a side note I have a mini max and dpf delete for a Cummins..... Let the bidding begin.

Good point but almost everything in the aftermarket world seems like is for off road use only. My guess is that the Feds don't get tripped up by that if they have an ax they want to grind. I bought a GM crate motor for a street car this summer. The GM catalog blurb was touting it as the perfect engine for a street car. When I opened up the crate plastered all over "for off road use only"

So who knows how that whole game works.

I had a friend with a modded out bronco 2..he pulled the stock 2.8? motor and installed the newer 4.2? motor...(he drove this on/off road...and comuted with it...somehow while getting his bi-annual IM test, they figured out the motor wasnt factory..he got a 10,000 fine plus had to put it back stock to drive on the road..and yep technically if its off road(and not on federal land..EPA ignores it...now with that said, i have modded a crap load of motors, aftermarket heads, cams, blowers..all IM legal since they had a C.A.R.B. # on them..

Tough break for him. With respect to these types of conversations I'm always surprised at how many people go on the record as having altered their vehicle's emissions systems.

yes it was, and you are right..its not hard for them to find out, i have always stuck to legal mods on my drivers just for that reason(course you should have seen the looks i would get when they inspected my 70 chevy with a roller cammed, injected L-88 427(659 hp)..they were dumbfounded when it passed every year...all legal as well)

Spartan is no longer selling any of there Delete products either. Was going to delete my 2011 Ford next week and now this crap happens. I'm so disgusted with the government getting bigger and all the EPA bullsh**!

Think about these companys that put all this time into there products and then get an email from the government saying that you cannot sell any of your products due to EPA regulations. I feel so bad for these small company"s. They put so much effort into there products, so that we can truly enjoy our vehicles capabilities.
