The "fix kit" in a turbo.

imo the dragons exhaust port shape which is pretty wide, allows the piston to rock into the port causing skirt loading on the intake side of the piston and wear at the top of the exchaust side, kind of a ported engine imo, the 11 ports are more round and the piston doesnt rock as much, thats ONE of the reasons I feel the cfi2 are holding up better!the smaller ports also make less power at peak but seem to make better lowend power, I installed the (fix) in my 11 pro so the piston was supported with my new ported cylinders!

I am interested to know more about some of your before and after measurements?
Please.....If you don't mind sharing.

Bore to piston clearance stock vs new piston?

Was the stock pro piston 20 grams heavier than the wisecos?

Does the "fix kit" have the same height block shim as the dragons?

Thanks for the info on the port sizes.... very interesting.

Dont know what clearance was stock ,,new,,, but after 1100 miles it had 6.5 thou the weisco had 4.5 and 4 thou and yes aprox 20 g weiscos lighter,, dont know about the shim height as I didnt have a kit for a dragon, but They should be the same as the bore and stroke havent changed but I belive the cooling holes might be different,, havent seen the dragon plate so you should call mtntk and ask
