The "Fix" for 2011 Pro

The only diffrence is a pro engine lasts a little longer but it will get the same problem as the cfi-4 ,so i think its a good upgrade.

Remember back in 2009 we started hearing rumblings about an engine failure or 3 on the 2008 Dragons? Then by end of season we were hearing about it pretty widespread. It really got loud when the warranties were up and guys were having to pay for rebuilds on their own.

One thing nice about the Pro is that it appears that the other glitches the Dragon suffered from (voltage reg/ECU frying) don't plague it.

If the issue with the Dragon motor was rod length as lots of people think, then its going to be an issue on the Pros too.

Time will tell when the general masses start getting 1500-2000 miles on their Pros.

MTNTKs fix has works great in my personal experice. If its not too much more than stock and your set on redoing the top end, defiantly grab a kit for the pro!!!

I see the Weisco fordged pistons to be better than cast. As for the taller piston/shim kit, I dont see it creating any problems. Didn't on the dragons. Some claim to get more hp outa their motors too while running the fix kit.

The only thing I could see would b needing a new map. MAYBE.

If your not planning on rebuilding a top end, I don't see a need to buy the kit for the pro just to install it; based on how they have been preforming so far.

Sent from my iPhone when I should be paying attention at work
