So has anyone on here in WA ridden yet?

I heard a rumor a couple guys had gone up Tampico a couple weeks ago right after the big storm, but I dont know who they were... has anyone on here gotten a ride in yet?

didn't a group of guys go to harts pass a while ago??
seem to remember pics of that on here somewhere....

Well, throwing the Deck on and gonna see how far we have to drive up Tampico before unloading and make our First Ride tomorrow:D

I saw 4 trailers with sleds at the Cheveron in Sultan tonight heading east.

Turned on the snow lights at the cabin we'll see if there is some snow in the morning?!?

Only about 1 1/2 inches at Smith Brook, Stevens.

I thought about it, but then decided not good with the new sled. Good Luck and let us know.

Ya, snotel and the pass report both show nothing but rain overnight.... gonna be a short, thin ride, but at least it will get the itch out of the system and may be good for a few more pics.....

If all else fails, I'll get a pic of both the sleds on the deck while in snow, LOL

By the looks of the forecast it should be good for next weekend and awesome by turkey day. A nice gradual firm base.

Good decision... we lost a lot of snow with last week's heat:eek::face-icon-small-sad

There was enough to keep us running cool and found a good lil play meadow/small hill, but were still bouncing off of rocks on the road.

After a bit, Mark wanted to go back to the truck but I said to hell with that and kept on going, looking for some better snow and found some we played in for a while:)

Had to drive all the way to Clover Flats to unload on 4" of snow and it didn't get much better from there till I found a spot down in the trees with enough to cautiously play in..... it was pretty fun for what it was, beats sitting at home and I got my new belt broke in for the year, but it was quite bleak :face-icon-small-sad:D

There were quad/jeep tracks everywhere and a couple other sled tracks.

Also saw a picnic table completely destroyed in Clover flats by some jeepers or quaders, there were LOTS of tire tracks all over the place.... The metal frame was all bent up and the wood top was completely burned up, not good for the motorized community in General, but I was pretty disgusted by what I saw... had I had a trailer with me I would have thrown the remains in the truck and brought it down with me so it's not a danger for sledders but I didn't really have a place to do so.... didn't get any pics of it either unfortunately.

A little play area I found not too far away - about 8-10 inches of good packing snow.

Stopped at the beginning of the pavement to check the sleds... my truck was clean as could be this morning:eek: At least the sleds still stayed clean up there... I'm liking that!:D

I'm jealous, but glad I didn't go. Last ride last year and first ride this year. You rock. Makes for a shorter summer, doesn't it?
