The end of 2024 and 2025 Little Truckee Summit Snow conditions

Well, we’re off to an early great start this season. I just noticed that I never posted last year. We didn’t have much snow and I ended up getting a new knee and a new ankle so I didn’t get to Snowmobile last year. I’m back on the snow this year. This week we got about 3 feet of heavy wet snow here at the house. It’s gonna make for a great base. So far, not much snow at the parking lot so you will need to drive in a ways to get to the goods. Good road riding right now for breaking those new sleds. They’re calling for more snow on Monday so hopefully it’s lower elevation.

Snow was awesome today at Yuba! 18"-24" of powder. Sun was out all day and new sled started coming out of break-in and alive. Great start to the new season.

Thanks. Went up there to ski with my wife and check it out today and was pretty disappointed at the parking lot. We packed up and went up to Yuba Pass at 6700 feet and man what a difference! Obviously the further North the better. But I've seen you up there many times and I know where your place is, so we'll head up maybe Tuesday or Wednesday to break in the new sled.

Good morning everyone. Wanted to give everyone a up date on the 07road. I went down to the parking lot on Sunday and most people were parked at Perazzo Meadows turn off. The dumb people were parked in the parking lot and snowmobiling from the parking lot. There is not enough snow to do that. They must have worn out a set of car bites. Was hoping to get some snow out of the storm, but doesn’t look like it. I got about 2 inches last night. So I highly suggest parking at Perazzo turn off if you have a trailer turn around at the big lookout. I wouldn’t suggest a 4 place trailer up there. Talk to a couple guys on Sunday that went up to White rock Lake and Meadow Lake and said it’s awesome. Deep snow up there. Pretty bummed to see the two week forecast nothing but sun.

Thanks for stopping by Tip and Don. I finally got out yesterday for a little Thanksgiving ride my buddy didn’t show so I was solo. The snow is awesome great. Ripping through the trees off trail. That heavy, wet snow is all firmed up great base. Got a couple guys coming up today hopefully.

Good seeing and BS'ing with you Steve. Sure hope we don't have a long dry spell before we see some more action. It surprised us how much we were able to do off-trail. Great season-opening ride. Ride safe and we'll see you on the next go-round.

Thanks for the Update. We don't have much snow at Butte Meadows, everybody is still getting Xmas trees and the gate is still open so the the road up is pretty bad.
