The end is near, i fear!

They're just preparing for the uprising when this country is broke and the welfare checks stop comin in the mail!!!

Oh wait, we are already broke, and the welfare checks just keep comin!

My worst fear is that this is phase 1, with phase 2 somehow taking control of the munitions manufacturers, thus limiting/eliminating the citizens from acquiring ammo.
I truly hope I am wrong.:face-icon-small-sad

actually this has been going on for some time now~ don't just waste your ammo~

What I want to really know, is where has all the .22 ammo gone????

Over the last two years, tons of people have started buying firearms for the first time. And many of them buy a .22 to start out/learn with... Almost every gun owner buys .22. Along with hoarding, people buying to sell for profit. People need to STOP over-paying just cause they find some!!!

alot is hording~

I understand there are a lot of .22's in this country, and that there are ammo hoarders. But I would imagine there are several billions of .22 rounds produced annually in this country. I can't wrap my head around people hoarding that much .22 ammo, I can imagine people having several thousand rounds considering how fast you can burn through .22 ammo, but there must be a lot of people out there with tens if not hundreds of thousands of rounds if it is being hoarded.

Yes, some are hoarding big time, but locally, the big buyers are all trying to resell at ripoff rates. They hoard up, then makes massive bulk sales and charge like .08+/rd (seen up to .15/rd). Makes guys feel good about buying 4,000+ rds at a time, without them realizing they're retarded for paying that, and supporting these ****kin goons.

Since july, I've bought 1075rds of quality .22LR, at decent prices. Thats been two buying opportunities... Ive seen a bunch other times, but i refuse to buy crap solid lead, and or pay the jacked up costs.

Another thing i see alot of, is guys that dont even own a .22, buying up everything they see, to get it for their buddies, or post up on facebook buy/sell/trade groups, just be that nice guy selling at regular prices etc. (seen this last one alot).

Its all very annoying, and looking like a 2nd straight summer of not shooting my .22's

Their is no ammo shortage, these jackwads that don't need it, just need to leave it on the shelves...

I call bull**** on the hoarding. there is very limited supplies to be hoarding. look at 223, you couldn't buy any until about 3 mths ago. now you can buy any amount and type you want
