Finally got to ride in Washington, and it was worth the trip.

Unloaded at Atkisson (near Trout Lake), and the sno-park was clean and well laid out. We were the only trailer there.

We were on the snow early (before the groomer) and the trails were STILL decent. We saw the groomer out later in the morning, working hard.

Plenty of places to play off-trail, but still needed more pow.

Even the cross-country skiers were friendly and pleasant.

Ended up with about 80 miles for the day.

We'll make a return trip for sure.

live in Washington about 300 miles from Trout Lake( Which you have to go to Oregon and then back to Washington to get there from here). I was there this summer for a wedding and stayed at a B&B at the bottom of the mountain. Looked like killer riding to me. If theres someone out there that would be willing to play tour guide for a day I would love to ride that area someday. Hoping to make the drive again in the winter- RMK700-151
