Thanks to Mountainhorse as one of the moderators that has very valuable information. He has went above and beyond with the help and information he gives out...He is a moderator that doesnt get involved in threads in other areas just to put in his two cents. We are lucky here in Polaris land to have a moderator that has his act together bigtime. Perhaps other moderators need to see how smooth Mountainhorse is as a moderator..its about respect. Respect is earned not given! MH has earned it.

May we all have a beer in his name! Thanks Mountainhorse!

............plus he's a Hippy........Yippy for Hippy. LOL.

(just don't want his head to get so big that I have to loan him my nice Troy Lee next time out). EW

X2, eric has always been very helpful and has been there when i a guy needs an answer the most.

I can only wish the best for eric and i hope the snows deep and the suns out where he rides.

Absolutely one of the best...especially for us Polaris riders! We did miss him over the summer when he was out for awhile, but hopefully he's back and ready to share his knowledge.

Thanks Mountainhorse!

Thanks

Thanks for all your knowledge! I have learned so much on this site and from MH. Sure is nice to ask a question and get a honest answer and no Bull S***!
BS

Well you can see right on his deal there that he's a "super" moderator! Braaaaaaaaaaaap..... I'm not going to get too fired up about ol' Eric until he achieves the coveted "SUPER DUPER" status. Then, and only then, I might let him buy me a beer!

Seeing a picture of him ruins my perception of him. I thought he was some mythical beast of knowledge and now I see he is an average guy. Oh well, guess I can still use some of his knowledge.

Bug I was surprised as well upon my first actual in person (don't want to say physical as that is kind of gross!) meeting with this mythical figure. As I recall it was a bright sunny day in Puyallup Washington! (bah ha if you've ever been to Puyallup)

He was on loan from Anthony Oberti. My true surprise was not his all around stature but the fact that his head was just so normal sized and there weren't any lights or wires coming out of it. I expected a "giant cranium" one with it's "own solar system"....he didn't even have a "giant pillow to cry his eyes out on" when Gardner's Ol Lady was getting ready to put a beat down on him! Please note that he is surprisingly physically gifted in the short evasive sprint!

Now I also want you guys to take note of the protective hand wear. I didn't get the moderators hand book so it's purely speculation but those must be for some sort keyboard protection? Is that an external hard drive in his pocket or he just glad to see Eric. What's in the sample cup? ohhhhhh...........tears

Getting some deja vu on this thread....were we beating down Eric some other time? Hmm!

Eric is a good egg.

I talked to him on the phone last night.
He is up here in Montana today (at Seeley Lake) riding the 2011 Pols.

I thought we were going to meet up yesterday on the ride but he was on his own sled and we didn't cross paths. His scheduled demo ride is today...he's probably out there right now getting the pre-ride rundown before they take off.

BTW, he asked me to pass along howdys to all of you.

Yeah Eric is a great guy. He has helped all of us out immensely. :hail:He sure isn't afraid to do a little leg work to help out a fellow rider. :thumb: I always enjoy our phone chats. Hope he is enjoying his riding and comes back with some good news about the new Poo's.

Yup. He helped me out a couple times as well. And as newbie, he didnt make me feel like any questions were dumb ones (even though i know a couple were) and took his time to explain things.

Thanks Mountain-Horse, You da man !! :first:

Ya the pic kind of ruined it for me, but without ever meeting him I still will call him a friend, and f bomber the painted rails are working great and you can buy me beers any time you like 9 the Mountain Horse with vag gloves oh my )

MH is definitely a HUGE asset to this place, there is no doubt that he goes well out of his way to help everyone out. It's just awesome the dedication he has to this sport.

Thanks for all the hard work and advice over the years, it is definitely appreciated:beer;:beer;

great contributors

This, to me, is the greatest reason for getting on this website a couple years ago. I have learned so much from guys like MH. Not to detract from his great contributions, but I'd also like to give some shoutouts to a few others that are quite knowledgeable and have been more than willing to share it with all the rest of us. Ron is always good for some level-headed advice. Full Monte has been helpful too, while trying to keep the bull and emotions from getting out of hand. Skibreeze has done a lot of work on his own and then shared it with us. He is obviously passionate about this sport and his machine, and that emotion sometimes erupts onto the threads. Sometimes the blunt honesty helps cut thru the crap. These are just of few of the standout individuals I've noticed in my time on here. Everyone has their own 2 cents to throw in, and sometimes it's the most insignificant detail from someone that can turn the light bulb on in your head! I thank all of you who have contributed in your own ways.

Talked to him tonight, he's on his way to take in the Olympics. He said the new Poo Pro is the bomb. I'll let him post the deatails, but it was all good. EW
