ESCAPE TIME

Just wanted to let everyone that doesn't know how awesome the guys at Selkirk helicopters are in Revy.My sled went down in 4' of powder, with no way of pulling it out,so I called Jamie at Selkirk, left a message for them to call me back, they called me back asap,I gave them the coordinates ( from a SPOT) and a visa #.They asked if they could land in the area, which they could,so no need for us to be there to hook it up.They grabbed it and set it down at there shop(1/2 mile from Boulder parking lot),then called to tell me my sled was ready for pick up.Thanks to them for making a potentially tough situation,a very easy and simple fix, also at a very reasonable cost.......ET.

I was running a diamond S hood that was buried in powder all day,and the ECU must have gotten wet, then the sled shut down and wouldn't start,it wasn't gettin any fuel,so rather than asking by riding partners to run the s..t out of there sleds to attempt to get it out,SELKIRK to the RESCUE.Also from the first call to the chopper to having the sled on safe ground was like an hour and a half, great service and a tee shirt to boot that says "sleds do fly",and none of my buddies have one..........hope I only ever have this one!!!!!

Yeah, I have one from Yellowhead Helicopters in Valemount. It says " My sled got a $1000 helicopter ride, and all I got was this crummy T-shirt". Its always a great conversation piece! haha

Had the same experience with them as well. Went and picked it up right away and landed it on my trailer at thier shop. 650 bucks.

I don't have there # handy, but it is in the cabin @ Boulder and it is on the trail maps that are available all around Revy.I'll post the # later.

I also have that t-shirt. selkirk was very good when I had to get my sled recovered from eagles pass. kudos!

Wow that's quite the deal. I was quoted $1000 US to get mine picked up in Hyalite around Bozeman, MT and they needed me to be there. Their chopper was based about 10 miles, as the crow flies, from where my sled sat.

that is very reasonable....I was quoted $800/hr, and 1 hr minimum in Chetwynd in '04. so we spent an extra day, went back out and pulled the motor, brought it to town and changed the stator. went back and drove it out....with broken ribs and a cracked sternum.....but that's another story.....lol. thinking back, shoulda just paid the $800....

Just curious how far was it from your sled to Selkirks Hanger??
Ie miles from your truck to where you broke down on your sled odometer.

Just curous as I fly lots of sleds!!!!!!

One in our group had to have his flown out of Eagles 2 yrs ago,$650....we got the stickers he kept the shirt, obviously, My stickers on my lid......but $450 is a good deal...
