To the waiste of skin that stole a Super Clp from our deck last nite at the Golden Rim. Apparently you can't trust any one....even some low life sledders lurking around. Too bad you will have to buy a $5 mount for it eh. Scum Bag!!!!

???

I've often wondered about that. WTF are ya gonna do with it without the base?

I always put mine in the cab of the truck and put the ramp back under the deck.

There are some fu@#in low lifes out there, makes you want to catch one in the act and beat the piss out of him, and all his buddies, and burn his sled down, flatten his tires, crap on his girlfriends hood,,, etc,,,, etc,,,,

I'm pretty sure I'd go to jail.........

Same here.
Left the trailer in the parking lot went riding. Came back to not have my trailers track hold down bar keepers stolen. (same thing as yours)
My friend and I were you got to be kidding, two pieces of aluminum.
Too many parking lot lurkers in our area. Steal gas, covers, coats anything and they are not even snowmobilers.
Now everything gets locked up or just bring the minimum.

I think the world needs to start setting some examples to deter bad behavior. It is only getting worse. I am getting tired of the inconvenience of constantly trying to proactively protect my self and stuff from the blithe of society who should have been drowned as pups.

Came down from a hike to see the people parked next to us had the window broken out of their brand new SUV. The scum stole their clothes! So they had to drive home in sweaty running gear with the window down in the winter. Man I want to catch somebody stealing anything from anybody...

No justice

We all know who's Azz wud be on the choppin block if we dealt out a little "Frontier Justice" to these losers. Apparently we are expected to accept this BS as part of our lives.

Sad but true.Too many thieving scumbags out there.

Guess I sadly see the glass at half full and trust no one,I put my cover, tie down bars, oil, gas etc in my topper.Of course it only takes a rock to take it if you really want it.
Locks keep honest people honest. The scum will still rip you off if they want it.
Hopefully life catches up with them in the end.

My motto-

If it fits inside the truck, it stays there til we get back.

Sometimes it's not even safe to trust a person that you talk to for 5 minutes in the parking lot about riding spots, sleds, etc... Hope karma b**** slaps that thief right in the jaw.

I found out long ago that catching someone in the act and giving them a beat down will only get you in more trouble than they will get in for stealing. This sucks! I have since caught azz holes twice in the act of trying to steal oil and my spare from the back of my truck.
A good old fashion white wash did the trick. I gave this one guy a white wash he will never forget. I crammed snow in his mouth, nose, and eyes for a full minute till he finally dropped my Amsoil. I actually felt sorry for him afterwards, his eyes were all bloodshot and had frozen snot coming out of his nose.

I hope I taught him a lesson. Thieves should all be taught a lesson, but don't get yourself in trouble or get yourself hurt dealing with these douche bags.

I always lock my clamps in the truck on the back floor under the sled cover and leave a can of half gas deisel and a little water in the back of the truck............

This stuff looks & pours like Amsoil Interceptor when it's poured out of a quart Interceptor bottle, just make sure YOU know which bottle it's in. :face-icon-small-sho

If your bored, hide in the trees at the parking lot with a .22

When someone starts their theiving shenanigans, pop them in the leg or arm.
Just make sure it's a minor wound leaving them very capable of getting back in their car & getting away.
Once they leave you may want to leave soon also in case they would call authorities.
Don't tell anyone anything about any of this. People talk. And if they seek medical help, the law would be notified of a gunshot wound.

Extreme?
Maybe, but we either have to do something or accept that this stuff will happen.
It's our choice.

I feel a beating is way more appropriate, but as said above this only brings more trouble.

Stay stealthy friends!

Golden's always been this way. Should've seen a few years ago when they lowered pass prices for out of town people from $150 to $100 and raised the local pass prices to $100. Every red plate was getting hit. Break in, petty theft, major theft, windows smashed, sleds stolen. Trucks were getting vandalized to the point they weren't able to drive home-- in silent pass which was like 40k from Parson, which is still a 1/2 hour from town. I think I went twice that season and I lived in Canmore. Also heard they got caught...
Probably messed with the wrong rig pig.

This is why when I ride with only one other person, I always try to convince them to let me pull with my outback. Everything fits inside of it, even my ramps. But just for the kicks I'm goin to start leavin a sugar based oil out on my trailer.
