We just spent the three day weekend staying in a rental cabin and riding the Fish Lake trail system.

Although it was very cold (read: 14-20 degrees) we had an excellent time over there.

Blue bird days, smooooth trails...heck we even got first tracks several times, very nice.

Thank you to whomever has the grooming contract over there, excellent work.

Fish lake area has some of the best grooming around the state! With the winter storm that came thru in early December they halted grooming for a while, so hopefully that will exstend the grooming program in the Fishlake area. Where did you stay at, and were able to ride to the trails without having to trailer your sleds? thx

We stayed just up the canyon a couple miles from the town of Plain, WA.

Comfy Cabins rentals, we always enjoy staying in their rentals, become kind of an annual tradition for us.

We did end up having to trailer to the Fish Lake Snopark though.

I did however, notice that a very short distance from us, the sled rental folks had a shortcut up to the trail system because they were staging from the field just down the road from where we were staying.

Very fun weekend.

You should check out thier cabins by Fish lake, you can ride from the cabins right to the trails! I have a cabin in Alpine Tracks (you pass our place on the way to the snow park) and can give you some good info on the trail system
