I've had good experiences too.
Refills: buy a Benjamin pump and do it yourself at home... I got tired of tracking down refill centers. No reason not to test now. Got a leak? Blow it off, then fix, fill at home, monitor for leak. Leak checking in water helps too. I've dealt with a few cylinders that leak where the tank threads and valve meet. There's an Oring there that can leak. Have seen a little corrosion on the tank there too.

20 min while having a beverage. It's work but nothing ridiculous. Humidity is very low here (especially in my house with a fire going) but a desiccant can readily be added to the pump intake to ensure dry air in any climate.
I live about an hour out of Billings so I decided to make my own refill station.

Funny you mention that,
The place I get my cylinder filled (a dive shop) charges $7.50 to fill an 80 cu. ft. dive cylinder, or $20 to fill a BCA airbag cylinder. I don’t complain, it’s usually only once per year. But still makes ya go hmmmmm.....
That’s crazy! My local shop just does it for free. You need to start smiling more

I just paid $5 in Idaho Falls at the dive shop. A very fair price.
