brown with a white stripe and solid brown wire are your two wires going to your kill switch pick either one will work

For the Yami it is the "Normally Closed" teather. Get it from Ulmer Racing and then you will not have to worry.

4-Stroke Tether Chord:

A normally closed tether chord for all RX-1/Warrior, RS Vector/Rage/Nytro,
Apex/Attak, Phazer, and FX Nytro models.

I cut the Brown and Brown/White wires completely then wired in my 2 teather lines. This deletes the kill switch so you do not bump it in the middle of crazy climb. Just tape off the two lines left coming from the kill switch.

I would stay away from the cat style.... Gunner makes a much better product for 50 bucks (only 30 more..) Yah it might sound like a lot, but you are going to be using it all the time, and the flimsy rubber ones aren't worth the issues.... JMO.... but I have had more annoyances then it is worth.

Pingel has a good one with a pull clip. I had a few problems with the one with the rubber cap. The Pingel is more money but seems to be a real good product. Can be tied in to any brown wire, which is ignition.

the cord did break though when i was at gunnison when it was -37 below. i replaced the cord with 1/8 inch elastic cord and all is good.

Motely, is the Yamaha "normally closed" kill switch kit installed the same thing?
