Tether Install Question???

I ride a 2011 Pro Rmk Assault....

I bought the Polaris tether, part number 2870668. From what I've read on here it is pretty much plug-n-play. I've searched and it appears it plugs into an open connector by the main wire harness and I've also read where some people have hooked them into the inginition by the key switch making it a pain to remove your hood. I did find the open connecter where all of the hot grips, etc plug in near the main wire harness. Is this where I plug the tether into? If so, what do I do with the other two wires (you can see towards the middle left of pic) in the tether kit? Thanks in advance!

The other two wires are unused. I cut them short and heat shrinked the ends.

If it is like most of the polaris there should be a connector on the ignition harness that you just plug and play. I usually move the key/cylynder under the hood and mount tether in empty hole.
that leaves the option of a key if you need it.

Thanks for the help! Snodawg...I read that post several times but never found an answer for the two other wires (could have missed it). Thanks for the reply, that is exaclty what I was looking for!
