Tested Z-Broz Spring Kit/ 2013 Pro

When I talked with Zbroz at Jackson last year they said the stock shock doesn't have enough preload threads on the body to give enough room for triple rate springs.

thewayout THUMBS UP!

i just got the front springs and rode them yesterday in heavy 6"
i beat on them in the whoops to see how they compared to stock springs
they work great you keep that soft plush but it doesn't bottom hard like the
stockers they seem like a very nice upgrade easier to roll into your carve
if i didn't have rear holtz fox package then i would go with the front and rear spring kit form Zbros its one of the cheapest add ons that really enhances your riding experience

winter your post made my mind up THANK YOU :face-icon-small-hap

Thats a bummer cause ive tried both and the piggy back springs do give you a second rate, but never as smooth and plush feeling than a tripple r.

I installed triple rates on my fronts. Fit fine but dampening was wrong for me. Went back to single rates. Like the sway bar.

Spring kits

I hope I can help out here with a lot of these questions.
We build this kit to be a improvement over stock springs with stock valving. While an ideal situation would be to re valve and speed up the rebound a bit they do work very well with the stock valving.

Dual rate - set up is because of cost we wanted to keep the price low and get people on our products and see what we can do for a limited amount spent. Also with the aluminum body a dual rate with Delrin spring divider and crossover makes a lot of sense for wear and again cost.

Custom - We pull the springs custom for each order based on rider weight, We are not going to list the rates or post them that was something we had to test to figure out what we felt was right for the application. Your welcome to buy some from one of our dealers and rate them, people do that all the time in this industry then claim "hey I figured this out I'm so smart". (sorry I'm on a bit of a rant session today) I will stay on topic.

Pre load - settings are 1/4" all the way around. If it feels stiff or soft change that in two turn increments. This is standard operation for all of our shocks and spring kits.

Sway bar- It can be ran with or without the sway bar if you run the sway bar less pre load will be needed. With out you will need more. This will cause the tender to crossover sooner or later giving you more roll stability or less depending on what you are looking for.

Raptor shocks sells a progressive single spring that the rate is wound into the spring. (They call it dual or triple rate) You regulate the rate of progression with spring pre load it is not tune-able like a true triple rate or dual rate crossover set up like we use. We can change the cross over or add pre load to cross it over sooner or later. We can also change tender or main spring to accommodate different ride heights and rider weights without effecting other aspects of the ride. More custom. Tender springs are inexpensive, Crossovers are also inexpensive.

Hope this helps with some of the questions and as always we have a direct email and phone right on the website if you want to email me directly

Also the picture is of the two kits front dual rate and rear spring kit. If you want the whole sled you need to order both kits. $325 for all the springs to do a complete PRO RMK Or Assault.
