Terrible News

Receive some very sad and terrible news. Connie Simpson passed away on May 16 2012 after a very short and unexpected illness.
Connie the wife of Ken Simpson owned the Grand Mesa Lodge for many years.
Connie was a very kind and giving person. She was such a great asset to our sport and her years of efforts of helping Ken and the snowmobile clubs in the Grand Mesa area will be greatly missed.
At this time I do not have any further information, as soon as any information is available I will post.

That is terrible news. I met them both many times on our annual trip to the Mesa . She was a real sweetheart! always remembered us " The New Mexico boys "

So sorry to hear that. Connie was always so nice and very accommodating everytime I went into the GML. My thoughts and prayers go out to Ken and his family.

Just heard about this in town. They have only been gone from the mountain for less than a year. Very nice lady who always treated me very well. Very sad day.

I have received information that Connie's funeral service will be held Monday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Stolte Shed at the Pioneer Town Museum off of Hwy 65 in Cedaredge.
