I just bought a 2009 standard m8, I have bought the telescoping upgrade form cat and intend to put another 2" riser block on it. Does any one have experince with this application?

No problems with cable length with the bars fully extended with a 2" riser.

2" AMP here also, no problems. Love it.

I am going to try arctic cats 2" riser, thank you very much for the heads up that will work....

I'd go amp since it moves the bars foward, the cat riser will just push the bars farther back. I went with amp and I love it.
I recommend buying the 2009-2010 throttle cable also. I put this on my 2007 M1200 and the throttle cable reaches but not by much. The newer cable is a good 4" longer.
09 standard riser
the 09' standard models have the same length of cables/wiring/brake line as the sno-pros, you could just buy the telescoping post and be done with it. they are so nice!
