Looking for some info in the N. Fork area. There's a couple of voluntary non motorized areas. One in particular I'm wondering about..Iron Creek.

Is this to the East of Stafford Creek? There's a couple of bathrooms off that road. The last one there is a bridge and it seems that you can't ride beyond that point. Is this correct? At the first one, are you able to ride up to the left from there? If so, is there riding to be had up there? On google earth it appears there could be but I can't be certain. Any info? I've only zipped up that road but never ventured off.

The voluntary closure area is pretty well marked on the snopark map: http://www.parks.wa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/194

I haven't ridden in there, but the altitude isn't very high compared to further up valley, and it gets less snow than further up valley. If you're looking for challenging tree riding, you may want to do the linkup between the Teanaway and Gallagher, via DeRoux Creek (but keep it hush-hush, because it's top secret).

That's where I usually go, even though it's terrible, but over the weekend I was just snooping around looking since it was blue skies and I could see things.

Sort of looks like man pants are required up Stafford as well until you get up higher. That's why I was wondering if it's worth it. I've seen tracks break off the road in a couple areas but not sure how far they venture off.
