Teanaway > Gallagher

I saw that article but never heard anything more from it, Glad she is doing okay!

we were coming out of the trail and ran into Ronna this day... she was also concerned about a friend how was missing possibly hurt or just ditched the pack.. she gave us ome info andf a name and we raced down assuming the guy just left the pack.. (LAME)
which he did, he was sitting down at the snopark warm and cozy for quite a while waiting for his fallen members.. my buddy informed him he had injured folks in his group and he geared back up and rolled out..

DON'T LEAVE YOUR GROUP!!!! EVER! THATS COMPLETELY LAME AND SOMEONE I'D NEVER RIDE WITH AGAIN!

anything can happen out there, if for some reason u haven't noticed your friends for a few miles maybe u should stop? or going up or down the goat trail. always stop at points and make sure ther group is all there..

its so rediculous to ride with people who just keep going and don't care..

Yep. As a kid I was tought that you were responsible for the person behind you.....if you can't see them for a bit, you wait. If everyone does this, no one will ever get seperated.

Gallagher was good today, ride up felt like a lunch tray was underneath, actually made it over the top of Hawkins. Weather was very emotional, blue when we got there, 50mph winds after that, then blue again, then socked in clouds, then started raining/snowing and after that made our way to Lake Anne, Trail in needs help bad, real bad. Buddy broke his steering on the way back down, Not a fun tow out from 16 miles in.

Couple of pics (right after weather turned nasty, looking down the west side of hawkins right before we rode down east side) Not much room to park up there!

Jeff was extremely nice. He was very thankful for the business. he said it has been a very tough year financially. I did check out the 2011 pro 800 he had in the show room..if only I was single...then if I get it I will be...now there is a thought:cheer2::present::face-icon-small-hap

To get an A-arm on a Sat. at 6:30 when shops are closed on Sundays and Mondays usually...and a ride set for Tuesday..I was lucky and very thankful.

Pierres is open on mondays

Brutal Dave!

Jeff's running a small shop in worse than tough times. He doesn't carry a large inventory but he's running a good show in my book. Very helpful guy. He's gone above and beyond for me lots of times.

I know for a fact he has Rev front bumpers in stock :face-icon-small-hap from experience.. to much experience!

Sorry....I agree he's a very nice guy and never would say he isn't but I am Zero for about 50 when needing something and this isn't since the recesssion Jason, this has been the norm for my group and I for the last 10 years. Alot of my wrenching (50%) is done less than 8 miles from him so he is always my first call when that's where I'm at and needing parts.

And my comment wasn't directed just towards him....alot of the bigger dealers don't even stock a-arms. That was more where my comment came from.

BTW...buddies girlfriend tore up her knee after rolling her sled on the goat trail into Gallagher last Sunday. He had to tow her sled and ride her b!tch while holding her leg. It would be best to keep the rookies at Stampede until next season or until the ice and ruts aren't as bad.

It's my fault since I told everyone to be careful on the goat trail after reading DD's story from last week.

Totally agreed, he doesn't have a big parts inventory. He does seem to be trying hard to be what we sledders need..... in the tiny market he's in. I can't imagine being in that business... trying to please sledders when their chit breaks... To make it harder, he sells all three brands.... that's alot of "wear" items to try and stock.

Sorry :focus:

Snows back :D

Finally got around to making my edit from these past couple of trips around here if you care to waste 3 minutes.

Killer backflip! I think that's Gallagher Head Mtn you're on the top of, not Hawkins. They're connected though. There's a killer ski run off the top of Hawkins down toward the Camp Creek drainage (among others). We ski out there all the time. PM me if you have touring gear and want to hit some big lines.
