Years back I ran Teams recommendations in my 04. It was very lazy in the heavy powder we have. I went through a couple of helixes & different springs, wts, ect to get it right. This 1000 isn't my sled & I want to get it right the first time, or at least close. The helix team recommends is a 48-44F 48-42F. None of my distributors carry it. So i guess I'm looking for a proven setup, preferably with a more common helix. Thanks for replying.
Yeah I had the same problem, they no longer make the reccomended helix for my Tss-98, so im experimenting with other helix's and stuff. Did you have an 04 summit?
I think bikeman performance has a setup for it. I have the clutch but need to get the kit for it. I tried the team helix/spring and it was not right. It still needed some modification on the primary.
On mine I was running a straight cut 44 with one of they're heavy springs. Not sure of the spring rate. That was with a 162 2.5 track and 2000 to 6000 in elevation.
