TEAM TIED SETUP

Just purchased a team tied clutch. I however dont have an alignment tool to put it on and make sure the clutch and belt are true. What has everyone seen or done that i could check and either add or take away (ex - washers)
that would make this a easy no brainer way for me to put this on? Any info would be great. Pictures would also be appreciated

Thanks in advance

There is no difference between the TSS-04 and the TIED. I set them both on a table and they are exactly the same. Now going from the old style on my son's 98 Trail RMK is a different story.

So...set them side by side on something flat. Look at them at the same level as they sit. Probably no different. Red/Black spring and 73/57 is what I am running with much happiness. :-)

That sounds great.. So you just tore the tss-04 off and simply put the team tied right on afterwards and no belt issures and clearance seams to be ok?

Well I did like I said, set them side by side. Saw no difference but belt deflection. Ripped off the TSS-04 and installed the TIED. Set the deflection and rode the pi$$ out of it for two years. Never ran the TSS-04 on my 11. First thing I did this year on the 13 was rip off the TSS-04 and replace. Still on first belt and everything seems fine. Over 400 miles on the 13, had 1400 on the 11.

Belt deflection is the only thing that might need adjusting.

Team Tied

I took the TSS04 off my 2013, put the tied on, and used the team alignment tool. As stated didn't need to change anything other than raise the sled up and turn the two studs in until the track quit spinning.

Same here, I have a 12 and took of the TSS04 and put my tied on. I never messed with alignment and just rode it. BTW I love my tied.

X2. Just pull your old one off and put the tied on; same number of shims! You'll love it!!

Like the others I used the same setup on my Tied as the TSS-04. I do have the alignment tool and checked the setup. It was good.
