Looking to help my uncle out. He has a 03 800 RER zx x, 159 x 16 x 2, 19/47 gears, mild port, zx pipe mod, yadayaddayadda...


clutch is a lw team....

assuming you uncle rides in Wa, say 3-6000ft?? A good starting point would be to keep the 19/47 gears, 160/290 spring, stock Doo threaded adjustable pins, 58/42.46 helix w/red.pink Team spring. Adjust weight to run on clicker 4-5.

Gotta disagree a tad winterbrew. With my ZX, I found with that low of gearing, and my team I upped the initial rate way up and it pulled your arms off.

If everything else is in tip top tuning shape, I would try a 64-44/42 w/ red-black spring at that elevation, and tune/adjust pin weight for clicker 3 at 8300 rpm by the stock tach.
