I have a '21 khaos 850 with some modified carls cycle clutching. 10000 ft elevation, 66g, 100/305 primary, 64/44.40 helix, stock secondary spring.
last weekend in 2-3 foot of heavy almost-wet snow it'll pull 8300, maybe stay at 8300, sometimes climb to 8350, go back to 8300, while going fast 6-8% uphill grade. seems maybe a little soft off the line. is going 8000+ pretty quickly, i THINK.
it doesnt seem to want to gain speed uphill (steep-ish slope climbs) though. I THINK it's pulling 8300 while climbing in the real deep shiz though.
what would rotating the helix from 64/44 to the 62/42 do?
also unrelated, sumbitch SMOKES a ton but doesnt hardly use oil like half the guys are bitching about it taking half a gallon every fill up or whatever.
