Went up Cement Creek Rd today. I was shooting to get to the top of American Flag mtn but only made it about half way between Reno Divide and the summit. before I felt the danger of a slide was way to great. The snow up there is getting deep 2-3' in the meadows but the problem is its very sugary. Far too cold for too long. My machine felt like i was riding in 6' of pow. I did happen to collied with a rock today and eat handlebars with my legs.... very sore. no machine damage. Still can't wait for a base to build and the snow to get better. I hear this area is better in the spring with slightly warmer temps.
