Target RPM

Mine seems to absolutely love 83-8400 at higher elevations, most of my riding is 7-10k but have rode lower and i cant say it felt bad turning 8500 either! lol

What’s funny is that most of the dyno runs show 8050-8100. I know, it’s just a dyno ?6B6258AD-9025-42E2-99E8-640F319FFA61.png

Manual says you don't wanna be over 8250. 8250 plus 0..... Minus 250.(8000-8250).

My 2020 163x2.6 runs in that mint range (4500-6500feet) with 70g weights rest stock.

My bad. Put 250 instead of 150. 8100-8250

The 850 is kind of hard to keep at just 8200 rpm. At 4000' in my own tracks, hood deep 8200 ish. I drop to 2200' with deep over the hood snow, that's so heavy after 2 sleds pass the same mark it's like concrete. But I'll pull 8400 ish. And i know forsure that 8400 rpm makes better track speed/ ground speed then 8000 rpm does.

I have a set of the older MTX weights that use rivets, they are 68gr blank, was thinking about adding a 2gr rivet to the tip and give them a try, any thoughts on using these weights?

Wats your elevation?
In revy area on a stocker we use 74 grm empty , 6000 feet
Really? With stock clutching other then weights? All I ride is Revy and 70s were around 8200 at 6000ish

I was referring to the post about the mtx weights.
Yea 70s for pol weights in revy, mtx add 4

We ride from 2000 to 6500 at 5000 I can easily hit 8500 plus RPM with the stock 68 weights

ride at0-1500ft, saw 8450today in deep snow, 2020 map.

Thinking i might have to up the weights. Running 10-72g..

In the UP (800ft elevation) with stock clutching, 10-74s keep you at 8250.
I have Kurt’s kit and am running 10-70s in the UP. I’m hitting 8250-8450 depending on the snow I’m in.
