Has anybody ever been around or seen those tapp primary's that c3 and powder lites offers? Anybody ever try one on an 800? If so how did it work? Any gain over the TRA?

tapp

I have not seen the results with the 800 but we have 2 of them on 1200s and they are the sweetest clutch that i have ever used with the same good old clickers that you have on your stock clutch.:face-icon-small-hap

When i was down in sicamous last year to lend kevin at c3 my summit rev 800 to build/design the belt drive prototype, i went to powderlites to check the place out and was talking with the owner, and he said he was testing one on an 800r and according to him it was working really well. Cant remember all the details though (sorry)... Its pretty pricey.. I think in the ballpark of 2000$.... :S but sure looks sick..

It is a great piece thats for sure, but i dont think on a stock sled it would be worth the coin.

If you had a stock clutch come apart and destroy itself it would worth it. Since to get a primary with all sheaves and parts it is also very expensive, $1000-1400 if I remember right.
