I have to make a trip over to Yakima this weekend.
Is there any snow in the big parking lot:confused:
If not how far do you have to drive up to unload?

Is there snow??

Did u ride with the guy that calls himself the big pimp daddy, big white wanna be?? Or did u ride and he sat there and watched while he ate? I think u had a group of about 7 or so, I seen u guys across the valley up high. Good luck, let us all know if there is any snow over there...:beer;:D:D:eek::cool:

There is ice/snow in the parking lot. and ice/snow up the road to about whites ridge road. but they are forecasting high temps this week then on friday snow so we will see.

It wasn't you trust me This other guy we ride with is not much of a rider. Just alot of watching.

Don't waste your gas.It sucks. The forecast on NOAA for the top of Darland is saying the snow accumulation for thursday is gonna be less than a half inch and maybe an inch on friday.Everything up there is solid as a rock.

Quick update for the Ahtanum area as of Wendnesday morning, February 11th. It only snowed .75" 2 miles below the snopark, at about the 3000' elevation level. The sno-tel at Green Lake was only reading about 2" of new snow also. This really sucks, and the 2 week forecast, although not as dry as the past month, doesn't foretell any large storms coming up. Last weekend while taking vehicle counts, the parking lot is either really icy, or gravel. I haven't rode in a month (no reason to), so I do not know the grooming situation. I will post better news when it does snow, hopefully before November of this fall. This latest storm was a real disappointment!

I rode up there last weekend and the trails aren't bad and it is icy from teh parking lot up to tree phones it's not that bad of riding just like spring.
We do need more snow I'll be doing the snow dance everyday

I usually ride Tampico every weekend but 2" at 6,000 ft:confused:
I'm going to jump MT.
Thursday(tomorow) I'm riding Sec 3 lake. White pass is showing 14.5" in the last 24 HR.:D
Theese pics are from 2 yrs ago on the road to Sec 3. White pass showed 10" of new that morning, Green lake showed 4-5". On the same day some friends of mine went up to tampico and they said there was only 6" of new.

I broke trail all the way. Not a track to be found anywhere.
the Orange Summit in the pic has Simmons Gen ll ski's, alot more floatation. I laughed when I first saw them but in the deep snow they do have their advantage.

Went up today, at Sec 3 lake about 6" of new on top of hard crust:(
A friend of mine went up to tampico he said 6" at the superbowl.
I wish I would have went to tampico.

Better than nothing!

At 2 mile below the sno-park, received another 2" last (friday) night; with another shot (maybe) for Sunday, and small potentials for next week-may be decent for next weekend. Son doesn't have school Monday, we will probably go up that day. Quite a bit of traffic this morning, hope everybody has a good ride.

I went up today. Man it was awesome. about a foot of snow up top. we went north towards blue lake and the riding in the trees was over a foot.:D
The bowls between eagles nest and the bottom of the super bowl were deep enough that my brother couldn't climb out of half of them on his summit 700 151. It was a perfect day for riding in the trees, good snow but not to deep.
It was foggy and snowing all day.

I knew I should have taken today off, heard it rocked up there. Looking for an official, with pics, report. Saturday morning can not come fast enough. :beer;:beer;:beer; 's 4 the snow gods 4 sure............
