Any word on if a guy will be able to ride out of the parking lot tomorrow morning? I dont really want to make the trek up from Kennewick just to turn around and come home. Surely someone has been up today that will chime in.

2in of snow fell in the parking lot this morning.
Still ice up to whites but 2 in of really dry useless powder on top. Most of that powder was blown off on the way back down.
Up top, 6-10" of new snow and blown all over the place, some 2ft deep and some 0....

Awesome day for sure.
Sun and snow alternating all day.

Fun day at Ahtanum, my son was begging me to go and glad we did. He always has so much fun even with marginal conditions. I guess when you're 14 you are not as picky. Lol

Another good day on the hill Saturday, better than we expected!

The flag on the pole at hourglass hillclimb will be replaced with a brand new one next weekend, along with the clip that broke. We'll have to get some tools and pegs to climb the pole since the snow level is so low. Preparations are already underway. Thanks for understanding.

Between Casey and I, we have a brand new USA made flag, a replacement clip, pipe pegs (to climb with) and a drill and extra batteries to drill more holes for the pipes. I'm curious to see what the parking lot and first few miles of trail are going to look like Saturday morning.
