Sounds like there is some interest for T-Shirts for the 4m ride this year.

The idea is born out of a way to give a little back. 100% of your purchase will be donated to a childrens charity here in Colorado (yet to be named)

For this reason I will be keeping the style and printing simple. One color short sleeve shirts with a logo on front and back.

womens and long sleeves are great ideas and can be done.................. next time

Let me know what is important to you, I can work it out!:)

this is the logo idea I came up with for the back, tweeks are welcome

Looks great what about putting names of the people that registered on the back of the t-shirts, just a thought

Yeap, I was thinkin about that too... there's always gonna be someone that goes and isn't on the list for some reason though.

Yep. I have two guys that are coming with me that aren't on the list cause I was the one that booked the room.

XC700116 and Vertical Escape 800

PJ~

Just reading your other post here over the "lunch" hour and got to thinking...

What about "JUST THE SPONSORS" names/logos on the front of the shirts with the awesome graphic that alrevedup already put together on the back of the shirt?

This would answer your "what are we offering sponsors" question in the other post. We are posting their logo/business name on about 200 shirts that are being distributed to guys that buy their products and recommend them to others:D

Just a thought:)

track~

That sounds like a good idea, especially if we are going to get some larger items. Chris did ask if sponsor names would be on the shirts.

Does that sound like something that you could do, Alrevedup? If you can do it, let me know. I need to get peeps to get the donations soon so we have a list of sponsors.

Just a thought, most shirts will have the sponsers names stacked in some fashion on the back with the event name across the top and a graphic on the front.

I like the graphic and I'm in for a few shirts let me know who to pay.

This would go a long way with the sponsers and their possible contribution.

Great idea!

I like the idea of graphic on the front with sponsors on the back. It makes sense that way.

I have been asked by 2 potential sponsors if their names are gonna be on the T-shirt. I think sponsor names on the shirts will be huge!

Sounds good, sponsors should be on the shirts.

I also like the Idea of the graphic on the front.

Next I need logos!! I am working on templating the above image to put sponsors logos around the edge.

example to follow.

send me the logos on a pdf. file.

the more the better:)

Not sure if it would help, but I have access to a T-shirt Printing shop through family... Can get the shirts printed for cheeeeeep. Let me know (PM if possible!) if you want me to get a quote from him; he normally will do it right at cost.

I put Burandt's logo on the the ride thread. I guess I could contact my local potential sponsors now if that's the way you all want to go. I think the sponsor names on the shirt would be a great selling point too and it would be nice to have the shirt to wear this season. Would it be better to just say "Colorado Snow West Ride 2009" and drop the "Forum" term. Seems to flow better. Just a thought, either way is cool. I did a google on "Hahns peak" and it came back with some images, but none that were all that good. It's a cool looking, lone peak and I think it could be a good background. Zoomie have any pics of it?

alrevedup...

Just looking at your design here and had a thought come across my mind...albeit an artistically challenged mind...

What about the outline of a set of mountains on the front of the t-shirt and then the sponsors logos kind of built into this mountainous scheme(underneath them). I wish I knew how to describe it better, but essentially the outline of some peeks and such and then underneath them have the logos of the eventual sponsors almost like a collage(spelling??? you know what I mean...like a mosiac or something) underneath these mountains.

Not trying to make it too difficult as I know you are donating your time and money, but just had this run across my mind as a way to use the front of the shirt.

Then the back would just be your decal with the sled in the air and whatever wording you come up with per bushy's comment above.

I do like the grayscale/outline idea. If you were thinking of doing just one side I think your on the right track Troy. If you do both sides i'd be partial to the sponsors on the back Vs. the front. Art up front and biz in the back. The collage idea sounds cool. Whatever you do is greatly appreciated and really up to you in the end. Idea...we'll get you some logo's and you can put em on there and supply us with an image we can include when we approach the sponsors. If they like their logo on there it may prompt them to kick down some sweet goods. Logo placement/size could depend on their contribution too. I may be complicating things again...we're gonna need a raffle permit and go national here soon:D lol

My Bro owns a shop as well and always has "extra" unprinted shirts on hand. If you want you could let me know of the type, color and style of shirt you plan to use and I can see what he has for extras and buy them off him and ship them to you or drop them off as a way for me to help out. I would like to help out with the effort but unfortunately the work schedule and trying to move from Texas to CO is taking up all my time and them some. So I figured this would be a way that I could help out a little. Let me know.
