I have a popping every half second when driving around with no boost? Plugs? Injectors?

It seems once it see's some boost it clears up. I put in new plugs and had my injecters tested and will try it again.I just dont want to hurt it!

test your coils & change plugs check plug wires sounds like a spark issue.

what gas are you running? actually you are more likely to notice valve issues at low rpm than higher because of the overlap in the cams.
I had some issues with a poping at low rpm when I ran strait race, the oil consumption from a boondocker turbo causes problems as well. I was really concerned about it, enuff that I took the head off only to find carbon/lead build up on the valves. It would clean up after running her and come back with light use. yamaha makes a additive that helps keep the buildup down it also helps to not run more octane than needed, overkill is just that.. julio
