Hi guys, I have a friend who has found a apex with a blown motor. The sled has a synergy turbo and the price is right. He wants to purchase the sled and install the turbo on his apex. Just wondering if anybody has an installation book on this kit. I really know nothing about synergy turbo kits, all I have ever worked on is mcx stuff. The sled already has the motor torn out so it looks like it will be a fair bit of work to figure out without any instructions. Also any feedback positive or negative on this kit would be great. If they offered multiple stages of kits this kit has the intercooler in the nose of the sled and seems to have an auxilary fuel supply.

Is it the red rear mount with the GT 30 turbo? I think there were only a few of the rear mounts built. I ran the midmount for a few years. I still have most of the kit. I think it would be alright, I would throw the RB3 away and run Boost It or a Pure Logic box. Do you have pics? Rene ran one for a while, he said he said it really hauled the mail.
It is a red apex with a rear mount. The guy selling it says it has the gt30 turbo. Never got to really look at the sled as it was in his enclosed and it was dark out. Got to briefly see it with lighting from my headlights on my truck. Looked like a mess to try to figure out with no install instructions. Motor is totally missing. Can a guy use mcx head shim and go by mcx cam timing?

Mitch that owned Synergy now works for Powderlites, you might get some help there. Not that complicated, same as any other kit, tbo, header, charge tube, down pipe, intercooler, etc, etc. Might want to run an MCX oil return pump and like I mentioned earlier, run the Boost It controller....
I've never had install instructions for any kit I've had.
