I'm going to be switching from Legend oil to klotz. Is there anything I should look out for or do? Just curious. Thanks for all the help I've received so far as well guys!

Start Flaming here. But I have ran the $20/gallon stuff for well over 10,000 miles on my sleds with absolutly zero issues.

I just can't understand guys spending 30-40+/gallon for oil.

What $20/ gallon stuff are you running? I run Legend because it burns, and doesn't clog my valves. I'd love to not support the azzhat that makes the stuff, Mark is a complete douche who treats all his dealers like crap, BUT I have yet to find another oil that comes even close to comparing.

Oh I know it smells good! I've run it in every 2 stroke I have ever owned since day one. Never ran any other oils. I guess people just get one oil they like wether it be 20-30-40$/gal and stick with it.

I have been running Maxima Tundra oil that last couple years. Sells for $24/gallon but if we get a few guys together we can get it for around $20/gallon. Prior to the Maxima oil we have ran the Cenex Snowmax PV. This was also right around $20/gallon.

Also, never had a power valve issue. They are always clean, never stuck.

Among our group of 10-20 guys we have all ran this stuff. And to this day I don't think we have ever had what we call a lubrication type failure. We have had our share of lean burn downs, and other BS, normal stuff when your in this sport. But again no bearing issues, or other lub issues.

Ordering 8 more gallons of Maxima oil today.

I can't imagine why you would have any issues, but why the switch? I have never tried Klotz, but Legend has been an outstanding oil for me.

I can/could too.

Please tell me where I can do that. :)

I got a case last year that I think worked out to like 35/gallon.

Can't remember who I bought it from though.

I was just guessing at the price/ Gallon, I buy mine by the turkey baster full actually. ;)

btw, $31.25 is what it runs me here in CO.

Where are you buying it by the turkey baster? My sled needs a new one. Do you have any extras laying around? ;)

You're asking the wrong question, the question is WHERE do you put the turkey baster. LOCATION IS CRITICAL. :face-icon-small-win

And yeah, I just buy them full of oil with a little foil thing over the tip, so when they're empty I just swap them out, and put them in the utensil drawer in the kitchen. I've got plenty of them, and they taste like Legend! MMMMM yummy.

Here is the correct mounting locating for the "Turkey INJECTOR" not baster. There is a big difference.

I can get klotz for 31 a gallon. Is that a good deal. Never bought klotz before.
