Switch to a Pivot Style Riser on a PRO

I have bent my steering post (2012 PRO) and want to replace it with a pivot style post, I think it has better options for risers. I see in the parts catalog the standard RMK uses the pivot style steering post. Is this a good replacement? Is someone making an aftermarket steering post that would be better?

This is the adjustable riser I want to use.

Can't go much higher than what you've got without getting longer cables can you? I was told only an inch on mine. Heard it on the Internet, and they can't put anything that's not true on the Internet.

You welcome for the screenshot tip btw! :face-icon-small-win

Thank you and I bow humbly to your immense knowledge that you have bestowed upon me.

I actually think the height is good for a lot of riding but when getting into steeper terrain and trees I would like it lower. I would also like to replace the Pro Taper with narrower bars.

I really liked the telescoping post on my M8.

Dartos,

I also prefer the pivot style riser...I think Polaris changed out back in 2009 to try to save a few ounces...

I had Wildchild on the forum (www.canadasledparts.com) make me a hella-strong pivot post. Nice quality welding too!!
