suspension questions?????

Ok, I've got an 07 summit x. This last off season I switched over to a 154 08 rear skid and track. I dropped the front suspension mount 1 inch and moved it back 1 inch. The rear has the tricked toys drop bracket which is the old smitty's drop bracket. The rear is mounted in the bottom front hole on the bracket.
Now the issue Im having is the front end feels heavy. It plows on the hill and on the trail. I've tried messing with the suspension. I've gone from number 2 to number 5 on the front shock adjustment. Not much change. I've had the rear springs set on 2,3, and 4. The center shock set from just having the springs tight to now having it about 1 3/4 inches 9f thread. The best rules I got for steering is 2 on the front shocks the center shock with the 1 3/4 of threads and rear springs set on 3. It still plows but not as bad. It still doesn't want to turn on the hill. If anyone has had similar issues and found a fix I'd love some help.
Thanks

Make sure the center to center on the mounting bolts is exactly the same as the XP. If that is correct, then move the rear mount up...you don't want the rear to sit much higher than it did stock, raising the rear will make it nose heavy. Any pictures?

I'll get measurements of the mount points. Anyone know if a 2010 is different than a 2008. My buddy has a 10 I can get the measurement off. Not sure if the picture will load and it probably wont help much anyhow. Thanks tho

Ok so checked it out. The measurement is 31 on what I've got on the sled my buddies 10 is 30. May be one problem.
The limit strap has two holes left but I'd need to throw another bolt in it.
Now if I move the drop brackets forward that may help I'll try that and see. I included some pics of the mounts also.

If you can move the rear mount forward on the bracket, that should let the rear collapse easier, allow for more weight transfer. I imagine it's very firm right now?
I believe 08 and 10 are the same mounting location on the tunnel.

Yep that's what I'm gonna try. Tommorrow I'm gonna move the mount forward. At least one maybe 2 inches. If I can get two inches out of it then I'll put the crossshaft in the top back hole. I think that will lower the back down a bit. Maybe. Time to tinker.

Well moved the rear mount forward. Got the center to center mounts down to 30 1/4 hopefully that's close enough. Better than the 31 1/2 it was. I didn't get a height on it but I think it dropped about 1/2 an inch. Hopefully that will make a difference also. I'll get to ride it tommorrow and find out if it helps.

Well I guess moving the suspension to 30 1/4 was the right answer. Still just a bit nose heavy but I think just fine tuning the shocks will fix it right up. Well that and better snow conditions!
