I have been following this story...displeased is an understatement
I am retired Army. I cannot comprehend how this "incident" has managed to get to this point. If I were chasing somebody, in that same situation, the captured hostile insurgents would have been introduced to the butt of my weapon, just to let them know I am thinking of them.
I find it amazing that we have citizens/people beheaded, for "crimes", and it is broadcast to the world for the sole purpose of propaganda and attempt to weaken the resolve of this country. Our soldiers rough up, but do not kill, an insurgent to derive intel and some of our own people lose their mind. Where is their anger when one of our own are blindfolded and executed? If they feel so strongly about it, maybe they should walk in the boots of our soldiers to know and understand, before they judge and whine about how we are no longer acting civilized.
I provided my electronic signature to the petition and I pray God delivers these men from the lunatics in charge of this fiasco.
