SuperTips - Tip wt & MPH ???

I'm new to Yamaha clutches and SuperTips and just looking for info here.
I have the documentation for the SuperTips, removing tip wt lowers top end MPH, but increases top end RPM while lowering enguagement.

My question is, how much MPH per gram does this equate too? Aproximately?
How much RPM will I gain per gram removed? Aprox?

Originally I had 3g of tip weight, wasn't seeing Rs where I wanted them, so removed 2gs (1g left).

Finally, what exactly does the "mid" weight do for end-effect (harder mid range "pull"?)

Thanks for any tips or info or explanation. :)

Clutching with supertips depends on what helix ur using & if your running pow or flatland stuff. I have tuned a few sleds (turbo & nonturbo with them). Generally load em heavy in the base & gradually lighter towards the tip in most sleds I have set up.I have never had good luck tuning em heavy in the tip; specially when you need backshift climbing or in deep snow. Just my experience

You might try calling Outlaw Motorsports(Enterprise, Oregon). 1(888) 603-1273 and ask for Dustin James. He really knows his chit and can give you the perfect setup you need(pow, hardpacked, etc.) I can't remember my numbers offhand but had mine set up through him. Hard to beat:)
