Superclamps, are they worth the $

I've been thinking about getting a set of Superclamps for my deck. For those of you that have them are they worth the money? I know they are way faster than the typical screw down spreader bars, but I'm having a hard time justifying the cost.

never actually owned anything with the screw down type, used plenty though. Even when they were new or in an enclosed trailer and dry, screw down bars always suck. I had superclamps installed when I had my deck built. absolutely love them. And then you have the option to put a lock on them as well. I will never have a deck or a trailer without them. Super easy to adjust and cinch down, super light and strong, I'm guessing that's how they came up with the name. A pair is for sure worth your money, especially if you're gonna use your deck often.

I had never put my hands on one until I bought my deck and decided to get the fronts and rears. It was money well spent and I'll never be without them again. I can't imagine owning a deck and not having them.

Money well spent that can stay with you no matter how different sleds, trailers, or decks you go through over the years. I run both the front and rear clamps...Love them. You can also add a padlock and lock your sleds down.

YES!

Once you use one....your hooked! You will never go back to screw jobs. They are so quick and handy. I've never used the back ones and really see no need for them on my operation. But definitely worth the money. Got mine from holomis on here and he was willing to deal so give him a PM.

Absolutely yes. I have the front and rear superclamps for both of my sleds on my two place trailer, and they are awesome. I ended up getting mine new on ebay for cheap, but they are well worth it.

Thanks for the replies. I'm definatley going to get them for my deck. Probably going to wait untill after season because if I did it now it would cut into my fuel and oil budget for the year.

Budget?? what's that?

I got a couple clamps with my deck this year and at first I didn't really trust them but after using them a couple dozen times I'm a believer.

There is no other choice. They are a must and wouldnt think of using anything else. Absolutely the best!!!!!!!

Vise grips..... :)

I would like to get some too, but they are spendy so i made some home made ones and they are fast and easy to put on, just saving for the real deal!!

CB... LOL.... I wanted to make a clamp from vise grips or a welding clamp.... :face-icon-small-dis... spent WAY too much time thinking about how.

Finally broke down and bought a set .

They're great, super convenient.
