Super cheap Attack 20 track?

I have found a super cheap Attack 20 153" 2.25 paddle track brand new and was wondering how these tracks perform?

I ride half deep powder and half trails.

I noticed that tracks USA has a Maverick for $475, anyone used this track?

Attack 20 can be scary on the trails at times, and i havent heard too many good things about mavericks. If you are riding half trails go with a powerclaw since they hook up amazingly on the trails.

It seems to be a love it or hate it type of track. I rode a 1010 king cat with a ported and straightened A20 and it was really a good all around performer. The maverick I saw was on a big cat triple, it worked really well....until all the lugs started tearing.

Are there a couple different kinds of attack 20s? The one I have on my sled now on but supposedly a 150" attack 20, packed onto the 153" rails. Mine looks different than what is being advertised, but it is studded and shorter paddle so maybe different style?

Since I definetely want to concentrate on powder more this year I might not worry too much about trail performance. I think the price on this thing ($225) is too good to pass up.

really an awsome track but for me i found put it in Hill climb right out of the box and it's work good on the trail to after you get a few miles on it.

$225 is a good deal if new.If you ride mostly powder or soft snow it performs great.Once spring comes or hard snow,it can be down right scary.Like sliding backward down the hill.Spend the extra money on the powerclaw, you will not be sorry.:D

it will only do this in the powder position in the spring. one of the guys i ride with has a pc and in the spring i can go down the hill slower then he can but the trick is to put it in HC and leave it there!

What about the Challenger tracks? I think this is what I have on my '04 1M, I've always liked it. Much difference between these and the attack 20?

Ok, its going to be my backup for a bit as I want to see how the track on it performs anyway. I just can't get over the price.

The guys I have seen that run them put them in hillclimb position right away. (from new) After a short time they straighten out and work really well. For alot of guys this is thier #1 choice.

When you are pushing powder over the bars all day long the A20 in powder position will rule almost all of the tracks out there. This track was designed for the bottomless powder , not the trail .:beer;

I absolutely agree with that!! My A20 in pow position works awesome in the pow!! That is what the track was designed. It is a trade off, in pow position it will be awesome in the powder, but in hard packed snow you will spin and skate around quite a bit. If you don't mind flipping it back and forth, you can flip it to hillclimb in the spring hard pack conditions and it will be awesome then also. But for the bottomless powder, it is A LOT better in powder position.

I have run two attack 20s over the last 4 years and the only thing i dont like about em is coming back down still packed powder hills you can not even slow down, if the track is reversed(only way imo) and the lugs are pretty stiff so if you use lots of trees for traction you will start ripping lugs off.

Buddy is running one on his doo 800 and has run it in HC for about 1000 miles the thing is straight as can be and comes down the hill just as fast as everyone else, but MAN that thing hooks up hard.

its a very 1 dimensional track, but it domonates those dimensions.

mavericks are pretty crappy, they are way to soft. if you run on anything that has sticks in it, dont even think about it, i have run over a few saplings and am down about 10 large chunks of lug.
