Sundog Sicamous Snow Report is Back!!!!

Helllllooooo everyone out in sledland!! Sundog is back with your tell it like it is snow reports. Sorry I haven't gotten to this sooner but have had a crazy last month and a half. The B&B is goin strong and have some new additions to the B&B that everyone should be liking.
Well the snow conditions are well crazy to say the least It sems like it has been snowing forever and the mountains are helping tell that story with alot of bottomless powder in places. Be careful where you go cause you might not make it back up anytime soon. The base is deep and with all the cold weather and champagne powder snow it hasn't been setting up too good. It is still snowing as we speak. I would say at least 2-3 inches on the vehicle so far.

I hope everyone had a good xmas and great new year. Things are looking good for 2009 and hope to see my old friends and get to meet some new ones as the season goes on. Also anyone whop stays from now till the end of January you will be getting a $10 Moose Mulligans gift card with your stay.

Good day everyone!! Well it is still snowing here in Sicamous and the Sundog will soon be an Igloo!! They are saying around a foot intown today. So that means Holy S%$# up top. It will be deep deep deep. Lets just hope some sunshine breaks through one day so we get some unreal riding here.

Hey Duffman ya thats waht they say and it has warmed up but they now have rain drops and snowflakes at the same time so I'm thinkin they can't make up their mind or they will be right no matter what by putting both symbols up!!! No but on a more serious note I am hoping the rain passes us by but will let you know if it doesnt.

Well we did get a bit of the rain that they were talkin about. Was at least halfway up the mountains from what I could see at anytime. Was raining tonight again a bit but hopefully snow in the mountain tops. Its warmed up considerably so the snow getting heavy. Remember to be careful up there!!

Happy Monday!!! Conditions here are good but we all need to be extra careful with the avy conditions. There was one on the back of I think superbowl and claimed a life. The snow is still deep and tempting. Snow is in the forecast so hopefully things will firm up here!! Happy safe sledding everyone!!

Good day everyone!! Things out here seem to be status quo. Snow has been falling here and there but do need a good dump for sure. Avy hazard still high so still be very wary on where you are going and what you are doing. Hope everyone is having a great new year so far!!

Hey everyone the snow is back!! had about 4-5 inches in town overnight and its calling for more precipitation so we should be on our way to some great sledding in a few days!! We have needed snow for awhile and its finally comin. I saw some people asking about the UFC. And no one in town carries it. We at Mooses are looking at this for the future to host all events like this. Just trying to figure out a way to do it. If you come stay at the Sundog and there is UFC or anything payper view you want to see I can definately hook you up!! Just remember for next time!!

Rode yesterday near Blue Lake, greaat snow conditions anywhere from 1-3 feet of fresh depending on which side of the hill you were on.

Hey everyone. Well I was down in Vegas and they had no snow!!! LOL!! But the superbowl and Ufc were great. Came home to a new winter wonderland. Lots of fresh snow over the weekend. At least a foot or more in town and I'll pick the or more!! So lots of fresh to be had and looks to be more coming.

Hey everyone well Alberta Family day is almost here and the winter seems to be flyin by!! The weekend was great with tons of fresh snow around everyone havin a great time. Guests up Queest yesterday reporting a foot of fresh. Skies have been clear blue this week also so the riding is extra good. Looks to be having some precipitation this weekend so hopefully dumps huge Thursday night for a fresh blanket!! Happy riding!!

Well the weekend was very busy with lots of sledders in town for the holiday weekend that us BCers dont seem to get!!! Oh well!! The conditions were great from my guests reports with fresh most days. Found lots of powder and had a great time. This week is lookin up and weekend should be awesome.

Well the sledding of late has been ok with the snow being pounded out. As of Monday is has been snowing and looks to give the mountains a new look once again. Will be great to get all the tracks covered up and start FRESH!!!
