Guys who wear socks with sandals don't get laid.

Got Milk???? Put milk or half and half cream on it. Not cold milk from fridge but cool milk that has been sitting for a short time. Leave on for about 20 minutes. If you burn is bad enough the milk will start to smell after a short amount of time. you can use gauze pads saturated with milk or just soak your feet. Good luck.

Just cut out the middle man & put your feet between some boobies.

Find an aloe plant and break off one of the plants leaves or stalks (not for sure what you call them) then rub that on your burnt skin. After that use a mixture of baking soda and water in a spray bottle. Spray that on your skin and let it dry. The aloe will help heal and the baking soda will help take some of the pain away.:beer;

I got really burned all over my chest and legs and back last weekend, enough to get some small blisters on my shoulders, and I've been putting that green aloe burn gel on about every 4 hours. I keep it in the fridge, it keeps it cool and it feels pretty good. Now it's already starting to peel though but at least it finally stopped hurting.

Where are you going to the fishing tourney at? My dad is in West Bend this weekend for his company tourney.

Up by Spring Creek, Rural Electric Association tourney. We sucked big time, that's why I'm home already.

Tried the Vinegar Friday morning, seemed to work but once we got out in the sun and heat it was miserable, plus the %)(*@#^$)( biting flies made it 100% worse. Pain is starting to go away, but I managed to burn my scalp!!! And I'm not even bald, didn't know it until I went to comb my hair this morning.

Well its too late now, but actually a hot shower right after it happens. A cold shower seals up the pores and keeps the painfull toxians in(body produced, to fight burn of skin). A hot/warm shower is painfull for the start, but opens the pores and allows the skin to breath, believe it or not. It hurts for a bit, but while stop the long term pain. Aloe is good after, but once you stop it will peel, look for a vitamin E based cream more than aloe, it only produces short term relief.

Grew up in SW FL, its what we recomended to all the tourists whom wanted to take a cold shower to feal better now.

Aww man... I thought that was only applicable to females!?!

Nope, im dating a redhead at the moment and the carpet does not match the drapes.

I'm red haired, carpet and drapes match, and can sunburn in a snow storm.
You guys are lucky not being light pigmented

Grew up with my spending my summers on lake brandt. Whenever we got too much sun we would take a cold shower and then spray vinegar on the skin the same day we got burned. For whatever reason we would not peel for quite awhile when we used vinegar. Vanillla extract behind the ears keeps most files and gnats away. Horseflies you need a flamethrower. Nothing you can do about the pain of going back out in the sun again other than cover up with soft cloth. Need to be careful about getting to much sun on the feet. When I was in the army some of us went to spain and a Sgt. Got sunburned on his feet and got very sick. (they actually called it sun poisoning). I always liked after the cool shower and wiping Vinegar on and then get the cooling effect of spraying Bactine burn relief on the skin after a sunburn. Heals the skin quickly so you don't have to deal with the pain very long.

"Walleye Baby" - Come early August I'd really like to know where they are hiding. (did I say "really"???!!!)

Forgot about Bactine, I think I used that once before and it took away the pain. All gone now, except the peeling, and the head is the worst for that.
