This sled is like its not shifting or hitting an RPM governor at 45 MPH any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So I've been through everything on this sled now, carbs, tank, rave valves, air box suspension the whole nine. This sled has never ran better as far as runnability goes, lots of love will do that I guess. So you think I've been running from the little black box bolted on the coolant resevoir. Makes sense thats the only part that aint been changed or cleaned and rebuilt. Where do you think is the best place to get one of those bad boys?

Just call a local dealer, the'l have it or will get it. Would it be the stator or coil? I think the stator is that black box, wait, coil, hell I don't know...
Bolted to the coolant reservoir. That is the one that went bad on my 99x while under warranty. Those things are a little pricey so if you could swap out with another sled to make sure that would be a good idea. $350-500 I believe.
Ck the swap meet, ebay or other used source. Gotta be someone out there with a sled they are parting out.

Mine had a similar problem last year and the problem was in the primary clutch
Is it hitting full RPM, If not will it with the Belt off. If so check clutches for worn or failed parts, if not the clutches check for intake leaks sticky power valves cracked bellows in power valves. Just some thoughts
could be the ignition modual aka the black boxs on the coolant resivior. or maybe try your coil on the oppisite side of the resivior, inbtween that and the air box. you'll have to take the air box out to see it, its just a black cylinder with wires coming out going to your spark plugs.
