Here's a picture of Lower Summit Lake looking across towards Arcticman. There is not much snow down there for sure. We rode into Maclaren Lodge, the road in is packed and groomed with no major bare spots. Alot of the open areas were windblown crusty but softened up later in the day as the weather warmed up.

I was there to day and it was not to bad got stuck a lot on the back side of the tit. snow was a little wind blowen and hard in some places but other places is was powder. still need a little more snow on the bottem and some new snow on top

Arctic Man....

Anyone have any recent updates to the snow situation there. Trying to get some basic expectations for arctic man - bring more gas or beer? Thanks - trav

Some beer, lots of Jager, plenty of gas... even enough to put some in the motor home on the way home.... especially last year. Either way - its arctic man.

Although the snow is not great down at summit its still not terrible. We have found a few nice powder bowls two weekends in a row and some real nice powder climbs. If you go to arctic man, just go do some exploring and you will find snow. Watch for Avalanches, just about every hill in the higher elevations have slid on the west facing side when heading back toward the tit, and courage looks like its ready to fall apart.
