Here is the situation.....
sled runs good at the start of the day (leaving the trailer) as elevation changes the sled looses power. By the end of the ride we reach elevations of about 9500ft. The sled will pull the hills at the lower elevations at about 8200 RPMs. In the higher elevations the tach will only read 7200 RPMs. At this elevation the sled seems boggy and sluggish. Does anyone have any suggestions on possible sources of the problem. clutching, carb, dmp failure? The sled is a 99 summit 600 with rebuilt clutches and a rebuilt engine. Seems like carbs or dpm to me. Any one know the right jet size for that elevation 6000 to 10000 ft. Does it matter with the DPMsystem? Any info helps
Thanks
Bill
