summer project , ready for paint

I see new siding on the Sled Shed....carefull....they'll kick you out of BC if the outside of the building starts to look too nice! Better hang some Tyvek over the siding for disguise! LOL.

Being a welder by day i appreciate someone doing it themselves, i got tired of getting rearended so am building a nasty road armor style bumper...hell with shelling out 1k for one..

Kinda what i see here, man that things sweet..cant wait for the videos!!!!!!

4 years ago i did strip a rev down to its bare bones and put panels onn that skeleton to see how small it looked , pretty much what you see here .
biggest difference is in the strength of the chrome molly tubeing .

strength was the first criteria on the first sled , second one is things i learned from the first one . we were laughing about it today as to how every one will be unique as each is likely to have different origins , ie the donor sled .

next one i am going to build is out of my 04/800 polaris escape .would really like to take a stab at building a chassi for the nytro .if a guy could get it down to 450 lbs i think it would make a great sled .

and its has been a lot of fun to dream and build . i like working with the tube build as it is realitive ly easy to work with and is used in every major motor sport as in, for of chassi construction .
