SUMMER MODS watcha been doing in the garage

Yup was a toss up between the Shelby GT500 or this...
Figured I'm not 25 anymore, need a "family" car hahaha. Runs like a pi$$ed off bear when pushed, or like a corolla if you want it to. Fabulous rig, first Merc, won't be my last.

Indy specialties (indy Dan) offers a long rod option which is supposed to get rid of the common problem of breaking cylinder skirts. He puts a longer than stock connecting rod and a small shim under the cylinders to make up for the length. He also re-nicasils the cylinders to a tighter tolerance so that stock pistons fit much better. It is also said that it increases power and reduces vibration. He offers a 3 yr warranty if he assembles the entire motor.

I decided I'm gonna grab a cooler, a bag of ice and a case of beer and just stare at it so we can get acquainted. 11 miles on it last year just wasn't enough to get to know it yet. That's the only bad part about buying in the spring. We've come to know each other pretty good by now. It better snow soon so I quit having conversations with my sled. The heat has gotten to me  Maybe I'll put some vents on it.

I have a few things I plan on adding to my already modded M8

-New hood & front bumper
-Tether
-New top end (not a mod but still keeping me busy)
-Freshening a few things and adding some new bushing and little things like that (again not a mod but still..)
-Fresh set of running boards from B&M Fab (AC group buy)
-MNT addiction track rack with with 3.3gal jug
-Anti slop steering post brackets
-Possibly new steering post... Or weld...

And if I find more money laying around ill add some things to that list (used turbo :D), otherwise thats the plan im sticking with!

I put on new front and rear bumpers, red to match the A arms.

I while back ran into S.Diddy at the local Polaris shop and after a good conversation about suspension I took his advise and ordered up a Timbersled suspension with Exit shocks. I need to buy a set of better front shocks to round out the suspension upgrade.

Still on the fence about doing an RKtek piston kit. Not for power but i want long term reliability. I guess I should stop being cheap and just order a kit.

Sent my motor off to Indy Dan that's my big mod. If I can swing it I want to buy a CMX belt drive and put in a 3" CE to compare to the PEAK 2.5. not sure if ill get that done tho. Need something to do to it next year otherwise ill end up selling it.

Going with a BoonDockers turbo set on the pro! Tuned for 50/50 race gas for a few extra lbs of Blow, along with inner cooler and stuff, ya know! up grading the front shocks to Evoal II, to mach the rear. 174" 3" !! new wrap tobe unvailed later!! LOL . Air Frames to replace Stock boards.

Installing stock 2013 running boards on my 11. Touch up polish job on the tunnel. Change grips, install slp belly pan shield. That's about it on the sled.

On my 2007 Banshee: a nice wash, dropping the needles one clip, bigger rad install. Ride the bag off it at the Brule dunes.

Wuz gonna turbo but gonna sit back on that so I can get an enclosed this season. As for the sled I'm gonna at the least git the diamond s hood and front bumper then some avid 7 tooth drivers and the new x3. Hopefully the stock power plant with a little less weight and xtra cooling will be able to spin that track and make it a worth while mod. Oh ya and a cyclops helmet light since ill be deleted with the new hood. Briiiiing the snow, summer sux

What I'm going to be doing to my 14 pro rmk,PA head, CPI pipe & can, terralps t-stat,mds,fire & ice mounts, blow hole, wrap and raptor firm springs. Got the parts just need the sled. 4 months hurry the $&@? Up.

Nice! Myself, cold fusion reactor. Unlimited horsepower and nearly unlimited range.

Actually just collecting parts for about six different builds. Getting parts CNC'd to my spec's and getting some home improvements done to kill the time while waiting for boxes to arrive. Going to be a good season!

All six get my 9" center to center drive plate, custom CNC'd 9 Tooth drivers, custom near 3:1 belt drive, brake on the drive shaft, room for 3" plus paddle (by raising the tunnel height about 3/4" and a drop and roll for the rest). Two of the PRO's will receive new 800 CFI's long rodded by Indy Dan. The wife's PRO will get a stock '13 600 CFI. The three IQR's; two will get long rodded 797 factory race engines updated to the 600HO cases and other special tweaks. The other one will remain the factory long rod 600. All various track lengths from 174" to 146", all wrapped around EZ-Ryde skids some with Exit shocks some stock, front suspensions range from 36" Z-Broz to 43" Z-Broz, all either Exit or Raptor shocks.
