If funds allow I know Dan has a BB coming out with a stellar warranty.

Not sure all the details, but my buddy is in the same situation you are and going to drop his sled off at Indy's in July.

I have been working on better steering post bushing assemblies. they should be ready in the next week or so. I have also been working on billet spindles when they are done I'm going to design billet control arms.

Mods

I do 99% of my work in the off season. On my wife's 2013 ProRMK 600, here is what has been completed thus far:
- Carl's Cycle 660 kit & clutching (extremely pleased with the quality of kit)
- C3 Syncrodrive (very nice product, a lot of thought went into this kit)
I have a Kmod rear suspension kit on order, should be here in a week to install, as well as a set of MODS skis.
Previous mods already on sled were as follows:
- Challenger Extreme 2.5" track (155 length)
- HPS Can
- Anti Gravity Lightweight Battery
- Z broz A-arms and dual rate front shock springs - had assault spring package in rear skid
- RSI bars
- Holz rear bumper
- PDP snow flap
- Tether
- Burandt windshield defrost bag & backcountry tunnel bag
- skidplate, knee pads, underseat & handlebar bag
- Backcountry front bumper
Once her ride is done, I will turn my attention to my sled

Gathering parts for my 14 assault, so far...
Zbroz spring kit all the way around
Slp block off plate
Mod rods vents
OFT billet steering bushings
Nxt level windshield bag
C&A skis
Rsi bars
My other project is this...
36b9cf34ccde6799397c437a5a7f6e86_zpsc1fc814b.jpg

Swapping the rust free body over to an 89 4x4 chassis with a lq4 6.0, 4l80e, dana 60 king pin front, 14 bolt rear, fresh silver birch paint, tons of powder coating, and a custom flatbed with a 6' ramp under the deck. It's only purpose will be to haul sleds to the hills.

Any concern with adding stronger steering post bushings to an already vulnerable overstructure?

Not really. one problem at a time. I was simply addressing the steering post slop and weakness of the bushing assmblies.

I speculate that the failure of overstucture is due to rollovers putting side forces on the post and overstucture (but I have never seen one break yet). The bushing failures I have seen are from ski impacts forcing the post through the back of the bushing . The lower post bushing in particular

My plan is to pull my Carl's cycle 900big bore out of my 11 and put it into a 13 along with my kmod and raptor shocks and put the 13 parts into my 11. So if anyone wants an 11 with ALOTof 13 parts and an avid drop and roll and 162x3" track let my know :face-icon-small-hap

Indy Dan LR Motor (sounds like Dan will be busy) Z-Bros narrow A-Arms, Raptor Front Shocks.

Just finished installing/firing the Indy Dan LR 800 in my 2011 pro.

Now working on the boat and putting a 910 in the pro xr.

Thanks Jay, some exhaust/intake work, and a download has her sitting about 530/475 now, makes for a pretty entertaining ride with that skinny rubber out back lol :face-icon-small-ton

Those newer AMG's are no joke. Perhaps the ultimate hi-po daily drivers IMO. Seats 4, lots of toys, looks good without looking "wanna-be-racer", and scares your golf buddies boiling the tires at 50mph LOL.
