Summer mod / maintenance

FOR SURE LIST THIS SUMMER
-Carls Cycle 975 Kit (used) ive had 3, 975 kits fall through or not work out completely, but still considering it if i can do it
-Couple more vents from Mountain Fit Hoods got some 2cool vents, but still need to get some more MF vents
-Replace 09 PTO side fender, since i break everything thats nice got the new plastic, just need ti install
-Dual EGT gagues/AF gauge got an EGT setup but going on the 06
-377/47 rear torsion springs still a must, but havent got them yet
-FTX rear torque arm relocation mod (back 5/8") still doing this
-Powdercoat skid rails Black using POR-15
-09 Skid Plate...i seemed to have lost mine...weird got a black skinz float plate to install
-Install Custon Rear Motor Mounts i was suppose to do in Jan...sorry Mike! long story, but still in the works, lol

WISH LIST...sometime
-Debating anti-stab/rachet, but i dont rachet at all..so why fix what aint broke not gonna use them on my 05
-Updated 32mm crank with TM1 billet PTO end i wish...my crank is close to max spec...will see what happens
-Custom Wide running board kit not gonna do this anymore since i got the 06 with the VE
-turbo nope again, will go on the 06
-Full EXIT shocks cant justify the money
-Maybe a Dragon Center Console with dash switches nope...on the 06
-If I go with a Dragon console, i will custom install the FNI HiFlo Stirrup Ventson the 06 again...

did you guys get to do all things you planned on?

i didnt plan on building this 06 the way i am...way to much crap to list on that build, so ill stick with what i was wanting to do to the 05 900, lol..MY status is in red with my last post..

the only thing i am doing to the 05 this season yet is..

--install timbersled fixed steering post
--taking off the zbroz a-arms and putting them on my 06, will install OEM 09-up a-arms on this one instead
--going to POR-15 the rails and front/rear torque arms
--taking the nitrous off and putting on the 06


as for my 06 900 build...my to do list is still kinda sketch...
--about to order the new style avid drivers
--waiting on powder coater to finish the ice age tipped 166 rails and tunnel section
--eventually get some anti-stab wheels
--waiting on a boss seat
--waiting on custom built billet front cross member brace
--flow test injectors
--install motor, plastics and final fit everyhthing...

Cool idea Sean, it's funny to see how things change lol

My 9 is parked, short of a miracle... a very dry winter around here.
I know not everyone is in my position yet, but it wont be all that long now.
So, it's time to start squirreling money away and making the big summer list.
Here's what I got so far
-09 front end and some sort of bumper
-Re-wire all handlebar switches into the console... clean bars
-Get my wide Switchback front suspension off and go narrow stance
-Upgrade my running boards, haven't decided which way to go yet
-Get rid of the tunnel plastic, install gas rack and led tail light
-Maybe a RAW seat support
-Find a used pipe
I'm also toying with the idea of a big blue bottle. I want more zap and a turbo is out of my reach, and the 975 thing seems unlikely... does HTG even make them anymore?
Anyways, I'll have to fit all this in between biking trips lol It would be so much easier if I only had one expensive habit!

Soooo... what do you guys got on the go?

Green is done or being done, red is out the window.
Add these to the done or being done:
-Compfusion mounts
-rear mounts
-jackshaft bearings
-coolant hose under engine
-oil cable
-oil filter
-fuel filter
-mountain fit hood, and side panel vents
-new torsion springs

Compfusion mounts showed up yesterday.
Carls Cycle order was shipped today.
Mountain fit vents should be on the way... I'll have to check on that tomorrow.
Now I need to make up my grade8 bolt list, and rip out of town to get them.
It's all slowly coming together here now.... braaaAAAAAAAp

Got my mountain fit hood vents the other day.
Got to order an slp torque arm and push arm in the next few weeks.
Also want to order some compfusion mounts and a new throttle/oiler cable..
Also just recieved some new throttle body rubber things.. Whatever the heck theyre called. Since the old ones are cracked.
