Summer List of Mods

Thread Rating
5.00 star(s)
Will you wait until warranty is up to put the RKT "Drop In" kit in? Are you doing it for performance or as part of a preventative maintenance plan?

This will not actually fall under the "summer mod" program..

I'll put it in when the sled clicks over the 1800 mile mark. I've always had good gains in power and fuel economy with RKT kits in the past.

Can't really think of anything else to do to my '11. Better gets me a new project. Anyone know of any wrecked 12 163's around?

Believe it or not my 12 has not really had snow build up too bad. However, I do plan to do the Skinz Air Frame Boards this summer. Are you Listening SPG? Keep building these.

well since I have PAR head, fastrax porting and PCV map, dynoport Y and pipe and avid drop and roll chaincase and drivers with a CE 2.5 155... I figure I will pull my suspension bolts out 1/2 way so my rear suspension can pivot like the new XM and I will put some new stickers on it and call in a PRO EXTREME.

If anyone wants a great deal on a Trail Tank for their summer mods let me know I have one ready to in the box. Used it about 20 days riding. 1 hour install.

Thinking of swapping to a 5.1 for early season riding, is a fully clipped track still a benefit?
858 kit
Clutch blueprint and kit
19/43
Gonna rock it hard next year

If I keep the 2012 It will be getting either PAR head or RKT drop in kit or new pistons and BD pump gas turbo. Really depends what the riding buddies do. Will definitely be upgrading to exit shocks in my timbersled skid because I love them on the front. I highly recommend everyone look into a little bit of tunnel support for these things an added pound of security is worth it to me to not have a folded tunnel.

I'd really like a 2013 but the cost to switch and get all of the upgrades this sled already has would be crazy and I love the sled. So I'm thinking new pistons and a couple other goodies might be a better way to go.

All i know is after riding the 2013 doo yesterday I definitely need to get this sled making some more power because that thing flat out works! It almost makes me stomach sick to even admit it but I have a feeling all us Polaris guys are in trouble next year!

I've made my mind up I'm keeping my 12 assault. Plans for fall:
Wrap
RKT, or power addiction head. Or what I hear is in the works.
New ABS vario pack
Add gas and oil and ride!

First on the list
Today Snow checked the 2013 LE pro White with extra blue sides and cover.

Although I'm not a fan of bashing, that is funny right there!!! :face-icon-small-win
